Welcome to Young Learners Academy
Young Learners Academy is a preschool with multiple locations serving the Tri-Valley area. Our program provides childcare and early education to children ages 2 through 5. At YLA, we recognize that it takes a village to raise a child and our goal is to be part of your village. We provide a high-quality, integrated program, amidst an atmosphere of love and respect, where your child develops emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. The first part of our preschool program focuses on school readiness by introducing children to specific academic subjects, such as math, science, and phonics through teacher instruction and active student participation. The second part of our preschool program is what we call “Stay and Play”; where students with full day schedules still have our preschool routines but with a fun “after school program” approach. We have daily themes for this portion of the day such as: Movement Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Artsy Wednesday, Silly Stem Thursday and Fun Friday.
